Missions are similar to Adventures (Formerly known as Interventions) as they also require a player to play minigames to collect shards for the Doctor. They also take place in the same settings as adventures, however they are not plot based.
New missions are displayed on the results page of a successfully completed adventure or mission. Missions are randomly named based on their location and opponent. Due to the random selection, it is possible for a player to obtain several missions with the same name although they may have different reward shards.
During early release, players could only participate in missions on planets they have unlocked. Players could only team up on missions set on planets they all had access to. Missions also used to require the team leader to pay 5 Chronons.
Currently, missions are free and players can participate in missions regardless of which planets they have unlocked.
